For 2025, the Mazda CX-5 dropped the S Premium Package and replaced it with the simple "S" baseline trim. For 2025, the Mazda CX-5 colors got a minor rework. Compared to the 2024 Mazda CX-5 colors, the Eternal Blue Mica exterior is no longer available. The 2025 S trim has a Black Cloth interior, but all other trims use cabin combinations from last year.
Depending on your trim, the Mazda CX-5 interior and features garner the longest change list. All models now use USB-C ports, making plugging modern gadgets into your dashboard simpler. Wireless Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and phone charging are now standard on the S Carbon Edition trim instead of Premium Plus. The Premium Plus option got a face-lift with a Surround View Camera and Parking Sensors.
The standard S trim lowers the entry-level price of the Mazda CX-5 by offering cloth seating.
